Workhorse Weightlifting Coming Soon!


First and foremost, we have just added a new coach to our staff. Some have already met her, others will meet her soon enough. We would like to introduce Madison Fox to our CrossFit West Springfield community.

Madison recently decided to transition from Occoquan Bay Performance, to pursue a fresh, new start at CFWS. This is very exciting news because Madison will be running our new weightlifting program. That’s correct, CrossFit West Springfield will officially introduce our year round Workhorse Weightlifting Program, beginning Monday, June 11th.

The integration of a full-time weightlifting program has been a goal of ours for quite a while. Our biggest reservation has always been finding a knowledgable coach who can dedicate their time and attention towards developing a program that our community can use as a resource to pursue a higher level of fitness, or sport. The addition of Madison allows us to bring this goal to fruition and continue to add to the value and service we currently provide.

With June right around the corner, we want to waste no time introducing Madison to the community, and to provide everyone with the opportunity to learn more about our upcoming Workhorse Weightlifting Program.

That being said, we invite all who are interested in learning more about our WWP program to join us on Monday, May 14th at 6pm for our WWP Interest Meeting to learn everything there is to know about this awesome program.

Also, on Sunday, May 20th, Madison will be hosting a 90 minute skill clinic for anyone who would like to learn more about the Snatch, Clean and Jerk. This will be a great opportunity to meet Madison and learn more about how she can help you become a more skilled and confident lifter.
